The mind

The mind is a very powerful thing. What you think affects what you would do or how you would response when you are faced with certain problems or situations. Thus having a positive or optimistic mindset in whatever things you are set to do is very important as well. Dun grumble about ur work or whether u like what you r doing anot. Sometimes passion can grow when you become more accepting of ur job. Who doesnt want a job that he or she is passionate about? But sometimes ppl juz have to be realistic, u still nd to satisfy Maslow's theory of needs. Let's say u dun work for money. So y dun you donate all the salary to a charity. In such a case, you r really not working for money(if passion is everything). The world we r living in, is a really realistic one. We should be thankful for what we are having now :)

It hurts to hear some truths. I dunno if they are truths cos the way they were being said seemed like a joke and at the same time seemed to contain certain truth in them. So was that r/s being sabotaged before? I m juz a lil upset.

I shld be writing my LP!!. So much work to do. But satisfaction is what you get when you manage to finish the task given :)

reflection

Juz read xy's blog post. Have a sudden urge to blog too.

I realised that her dreams are similar to those that I had when I was a JC student. Wanting to work/travel overseas, getting a high paying and good prospect job, travel the world etc. But that was what I had planned for myself, not including anyone.

As I grow, I realised my dream changes. What I have in plan now is very different from what I used to have when I was in my 17 and 18. My dreams are more realistic I guess. Maybe dreams change when u have found someone. Life values can change as well. Instead of travelling the world alone, I want to travel the world with the one I love. The plan of settling down a few years down the road, makes having a stable job a very impt aspect. E.g Banking is a very glamorious job, but it has long working hrs. But with so many ppl in that field, r u v sure that u will be a high flyer? In times of economic downturn, and when u r in ur 40s, arent u afraid of being retrenched? In this time and age, there is no job that will last u for a lifetime. But at least, there are lower risk jobs.

For now, I envision myself to settle down with you. I realise how not easy it is to find a house of an ideal location. But I m sure we'll find it :). We shall travel the world together :)

I very xiao nu ren hor? is it gd or bad? but at least i m happy now :)
