Some ppl are just plain sour grapes.

Another weekend...

I should be setting exam pp now. But i always get distracted whenever i m using the lappy to do work. I will either log into FB or read friend's blog etc... Or I will read forums/ reviews on my house (The Peak) and Bridal Shop.

Basically Dear and I have already signed up with one bridal shop and already paid for it. I agree that we were a bit impulsive at that point in time cos the package sounded attractive. And the thing is, we have not actually gone to other bridal shops beforehand. This is at most the second shop we have really visited (and it was impromptu). The first time we enquired abt bridal package was during a bridal fair which we happened to walk past.

Upon signing, we quickly went online to search for comments and reviews about this shop. Luckily this shop is one for the few bridal shops that is more well-known and receive good comments/ reviews. Still being paranoid, we make a visit down to the HQ ytd. The person who attended to us was quite friendly. Hopefully their service will be gd too.

We actually intended to take the photoshoot next yr. ROM would most likely be in May. So would nd to make a trip down to the shop again to try out on ROM dress. PS would most likely be in the 2nd half of the yr. So now I have to start to keep my hair long and slim down abit (i have put on quite abit of weight since graduation).

The shop did give me quite a gd impression. So hopefully the service and product will be gd, esp the gown! I saw quite a few nice ones there thou :D

Marriage life

My colleague asked me, "so are you looking forward to moving into ur new house?"

I replied, "yes of cos!"

Colleague: "so you are ready to settle for married life!"

I know that there are some couples who have worries about staying together after marriage. They might even have phobia for it and thus some might even need counselling. Living together means having to give and take. Compromise and complement one another where ever possible. Marriage, of cos, is not a ned full of roses. But somehow, I am still excited about it. In fact, I m looking forward to it. Just that our love nest will take some time to be completed ( prob 1.5 yrs or 2 yrs including renovation).

I was once told by a colleague, the best way to find out if u and ur bf or gf can stay together peacefully is to go on a holiday toge. In this way, you get to know what are his or her living habits and you will find out what ur threshold level is for things u cant accept or accomodate. this is actually quite true.

Marriage life is a new beginning for everyone. Just like wat a peranakan culture states, marriage is the time when life really begins.

I dun get it

sometimes I just cant seem to come to an agreement wif how things are done and plan in other ppl's family. I understand that every family is different, but their way of thinking is some what in conflict wif mine/ peculiar.

there are some events that do not req the attendance of the wole family. So why must it be a mandatory thing whereby everyone is made to attend? its not that ppl are sitting at home wif nothing to do. In fact, they have some ompt stuff to attend to for e.g. exam or test to study. So ended up they have to stay up late to finish studying.

Maybe my family isnt like this. Thus I nv understand the reason behind. But i noe at least i will not be forced to do things that i dun like / dun want by my family.

I m certainly not a pushover, n i dun believe in listening everything what elders says. cos sometimes they might be wrong too. Be selective. I can be someone who is difficult to live with.

Loooooong weekend

Although its a long weekend for me, but it seems to be soooooo short! planned use this weekend to finish my work since Dear is busy, cant spend time wif me. But I dun feel motivated to do my work at all!!! I m taking forever to finish the task! Gosh!!!

Now i am looking forward to Tcher's day hols followed by sept hols!

nitty gritty

Hmm... Dear is on deployment again. Okie lah.. I m not complaining. He hasnt been on deployment for quite some time. and this time rd, its relatively short. He will be bk tmr! Wee :D Thou I have a long weekend this time rd, Dear is busy! So cant really plan much for the long weekend too.

Now waiting for meeting to start. another long day at work. I din manage to get off from work early this week at all... haiz...

Cant wait for tmr to come! For the obvious reason :D

Auspicious

Now, all Dear and I need to do is to choose an auspicious date for our wedding before we can book the hotel for the wedding banquet. I used to think that we only cannot have our wedding during the 6th mth ( cos half yr husband n wife, translate it into mandarin) and 7th mth (hungry ghost fest)on the lunar calendar but I din noe that we cant even take wedding photos and choose the wedding date during these 2 mths too. So now we have to wait until the roman sept before our wedding date is chosen. Meanwhile, Dear and I have to go ard different hotels that we think is nice and affordable to take a look at the ballroom and the suite.

ppl might be thinking that we r kiasu. But the banquet table is increasing by 100 bucks every yr. n we hope to get our desire date plus getting the table when the rate has not increased. so yah.. we even bought the wedding package already... hopefully its a nice bridal shop that provides gd services and quality products :)
