This is the mth which I hope will fly by quickly. cos dear will be on deployment during this period. gosh~~~ so long~~~ approx 30 days. Consolation is, Dear will give me a call whenever possible! this will make my waiting seem shorter. at least to me. The calls are very impt to me. its to inform me where Dear is and know how he has been. this will at least give me a piece of my mind.
So for the next four weekends, I shall be a gd gal, stay at home and do work. Probably can meet up the gals to go for mani and pedicure! Oh! I wanna watch the movie When in Rome. Wanted to watch it with Dear but I guess have to watch it on my own now.
Cant wait for april to be over!!!

Do you know wat u really want in life?
Lp, Sf and I were having dinner after our KTV sessions weeks ago and we were having a discussion on whether we know what we really want out of our lives. Most of us dunno what we really want and what we want to be and we are still in the midst of searching. I m nowhere different. In fact, I also dunno what I want to do. Do I want to remain in the same line for life? Then I mentioned about other things besides career. My priority in life is not my work. which is true. To me, what is more impt are my love ones, my family. A job is basically there to sustain the daily needs. I think I m more family oriented. To some, I m seem very xiong wu da zi. But what's the point of being v successful in career and there is no one there to share the joy wif u? or worse, the family is in a mess? There is still a traditional or conventional part of me. I think my hubby should be more successful in career and earning more than me. In that way, I will feel more secure. :p
new term begins
the one week break is not exactly a holi. but still, its a gd break from work. so now i m looking forward to june holi! One gd thing abt this holi is that I manage to spend more time with Dear. Minus my camp days, we see each other almost everyday. Time always fly by quickly whenever we are having great quality time toge. Just like ytd, we spent half a day walking ard clark quay, suntec. it seemed so short and there we went, time to head home again!

Greatest Invention
I wont disagree that light bulb is the greatest invention ever. Imagine life without light bulb. eveyone of us will be living in darkness at night or get the pathetic minimal light from a lighted candle.
besides light bulb, air-con is another great invention. Esp with the super hot weather nowadays, an air-conditioned room is like heaven to me. Plus I slp in air-con every night, i practically cant live w/o it.
The next greatest invention is GSP!!! oh my, cant imagine how i would drive ard without it. I can remem some routes for nuts. and map reading pose as a prob (even though i used to be a geo student). I can read a map but I will take a super long time to figure out. I have a poor sense of direction. never thought of the usefulness of GSP until I started to drive ard sg on my own since last wk.

fat! fat! fat!
I m getting fat and ugly! Time to lose some weight. I didnt eat extra as compared to the past. But it seems that I have been putting on weight!!! How come? Is it that my metabolism has slowed down??? Probably. Oh i hate that. No time to exercise now and metabolism is slowing down. I nd to serious think of ways to get rid of my fats. looking at the photos that I have taken recently, I looked chubby in all of them!!! Shit!!!!

its finally friday! After a long day at work, I managed to reached home at 7 plus today. Cant believe I work for ard 12 hrs today. Next wk will be week 10 of sch term and the following week will be sch holi! Sounds gd rite... But I still have to go for camps. 3 days camp!!! well, at least can rest a bit more (on the days after camp) I hope...
Dear will only come bk on Sun. 2 days later than expected! I nd to wait for another 2 more days... hopefully he will be bk by tmr! tat will be great!
I realise I will always blog whenever I miss him. I will take out all the letters, all the cards he wrote for me to read and they never fail to bring a smile on my face and make my day. Just like now I m listening to the CD which he compiled all the love songs and gave it to me on our very first vday when we were not together yet. When I recall how we met and got together, I find it really amazing. maybe that's what ppl known as Yuan Fen (affinity).
My eyes are feeling so tired. I shall not do any work tonight. Tmr still nd to go to the guide house for meeting. OMG~

Wedding Bells
dun mistaken tat I am getting married juz by reading the title.
I was looking through the photos in FB and found that more and more of my friends are getting married. Even my pri sch frens. This is not surprising as we r at our marriageble age now. This makes me wonder, how come ppl are getting married at a much younger age than I expected? We are 25 now. We still can wait for 2 to 3 more yrs before ringing the wedding bells rite?
Looking through the photos can make one envious of cos :) wonder how would mine be like in future. there are some advantages of being married. One of them will be able to see one another everyday. Ever since both of us started working, the times we get to see one another has reduced. Luckily Dear's work place is nearer to my house as compared to his. that's y he could occassionally come over to my house and acc me. thus if we r staying together (after we r married) we will be able to see one another everyday. Dear sometimes asked, "why dun we get married first?". I would counter ask him where we would stay. Then he would reply, "my house!". Then I would tell him if he doesnt mind staying in my house, I wont mind getting married now.
The thing is, I dun wanna stay with in-laws. I wan a house which will belong solely to both of us. My family living habits are so different from Dear's. I can use laptop while watching TV. I on my air-con very nite. I can do watever i want and I feel so much as ease at my own house. There is bound to have conflicts if there are differences in living habits. One more thing, I dun do housework at my own house. If I stay with other ppl, I will be forced to do it (of cos u will feel paiseh for not doing it rite). If we have our own house, we can do watever we want e.g. cuddling in sofa to watch tv. How to do that in front of the parents rite? Besides that, we can spend more quality time together, have our very own private moments. :D
Our house will be ready in 2010. 2 more yrs to go. But its still better than buying BTOs which will only be ready in 5 years time. Thus its a good thing that we bought a DBSS. By the way, BTOs are not necessarily cheaper. The one at Dawson is much more ex than The Peak @ Toa payoh, the one that we bought. Getting married includes wedding banquet, honeymoon etc etc and these equate money. So we can use the 2 yrs to save up more money!
Cant wait for 2012 to arrive! Oh wait, where is my proposal ring??? :P
